Founded in 2001, the SLP_ABA
discussion group is a free email-based discussion group
(sometimes referred to as a listserv).
The purpose of this
group is to provide a forum for SLPs with an interest in ABA
and ABA professionals with an interest in verbal behavior to
communicate with each other about clinical/research issues
of mutual interest. Topics of discussion may include conference
information, clinical issues, research issues, advocacy within
ASHA, or other issues relevant to the combination of SLP and
ABA.
The group is affiliated
with SPABA Group, a special
interest group (SIG) for behavioral SLPs and ABA professionals
within the International Association for Behavior Analysis
(ABA). We welcome clinically certified professionals as well
as students in the fields of SLP and ABA.
If you sign up for
this group, you will receive email messages from other members
of the discussion group related to speech pathology and applied
behavior analysis. If you like, you can respond to these messages
or you can simply choose to only read messages. Any responses
you send will be viewed by all the other members of the discussion
group and they will have an opportunity to respond to what
you say.
